Unleashing Our Inner "Hillbilly-ness"

Last night, the hubs and I went with my parents to see "Night of Destruction" at New Paris Speedway. We were lucky to witness some of the most destructive events known to the hillbilly community, such as train races, drag races, figure 8 races, and the ever popular TRAILER RACE! And you know what? We had a blast!

Ty was eager to unleash his hillbilly-ness. Exhibit A: squirting mustard onto his shoe INSTEAD of on his hotdog.

Exhibit B: It didn't stop with just his shoe! No way...he also squirted it on his pants!

Now THAT'S uncommon! How many times can you say you've seen a random boat on the track during an auto race? Well I can officially say I've seen it happen once! This boat had been attached to one of the trailers, but flew off of it within the first 2 laps of the 30-lap race. By far, the highlight of the night was when they dragged this boat to the finish line, and let some of the cars ram into it full force as it exploded into a cloud of boat chunks!

It was definitely a night filled with entertainment! And you know what? I don't mind unleashing my inner hillbilly-ness if it means getting to spend a fun night with family. And the best part? "Night of Destruction II" is coming in August!
