Friday night, Ty and I headed out to his old stomping grounds to hang out with some friends that were back in town for the weekend. Ty had seen them about a month ago, but it had been quite awhile since I'd seen any of them, and there was a new little one for me to meet!
This is Emery, the daughter of one of Ty's best friends from high school. She's absolutely adorable, and 100% content with life. She barely made a peep all night, and was blissfully happy just to sit on someone's lap at all times.
After catching up for a couple hours on life, the boys decided to show us a little of what they used to do for fun on the weekends in high school. Now, I've been hearing about this since I was 19, so I was pretty pumped to finally get to experience it.
The boys played a game from the improv show, "Who's Line is it Anyway?" They were guests at a party. They drew their "character" from a hat, and then had to act out that character and get us to guess it. Kind of like charades, but with dialogue. I have to say, I was laughing pretty dang hard at them.
Ty was supposed to be a butterfly going through metamorphosis in this picture. He crawled around on the floor like a caterpillar, looking for a spot. He found a spot behind this lamp, and then yelled, "It's happening!" Someone else asked, "What? What's happening?" To which he relied, (because he couldn't give it away) "Thiiiiiiiiiiiiings!"
It was a fun night catching up with friends, laughing and chatting, and watching goofy improv games.
Good times, indeed.
xoxo, wife.
